ACES Greets the New School Year With Two New Schools and Relocation of Three Facilities

As one school year ends, an exciting summer with great expectations for ACES students, staff, and parents begins. While the children are taking a relaxing break from the school year, ACES Construction Services has spent the summer finishing off a new campus that will house two of its existing schools and relocating three other existing schools.

A Brother’s Love Results in a Project That Benefits Everyone at ACES Center for Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders

Brothers have special relationships. And then there’s Reilly and Zach Stewart. Seventeen-year-old Reilly is a driven young man who sets goals and then figures out how to achieve them. In early 2018, he set his sights on becoming an Eagle Scout, which entails completing a long list of tasks and achievements culminating in a philanthropic project that is designed to help his community in some way. As he accompanied his older brother Zach to the ACES Center for Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders (CASDD), which houses the ACES Science-based Approaches to Independence and Life Skills or SAILS program, Reilly had an epiphany.

Biggs Promoted to ACES Marketing and Outreach Department

Tenisha Biggs will join Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) Marketing and Outreach Department as its Public Relations Assistant, effective July 1st. The PR Assistant is a new position for ACES that was created to help the Marketing and Outreach Platform support the agency’s growth and need for increased and strengthened internal and external communications.

Miss Teen Connecticut Kaliegh Garris is this year’s Miss Teen USA. Kaliegh is a dual-enrolled student at ACES Educational Center for the Arts (ECA) where she majors in theater and attends Joseph A. Foran High School in Milford.

Thomas Edison Middle School Family STEMS Night Highlights Educational Curriculum

Proving why ACES Thomas Edison Middle School (TEMS) prides itself on providing student opportunities to engineer, write, grow, and change their future, the school’s annual Family “STEMS” Night is scheduled for Thursday, April 4th at the school located at 355 N Broad St, Meriden, Connecticut. The free event this is open to the public and shows how TEMS’ students apply STEM work in the classroom.
