EXPERIENCE THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF THE ARTS - APPLY HERE

We at ECA believe in the capacity of the human spirit to CREATECONNECT and TRANSFORM. Through the intensive study of music, dance, theatre, writing or the visual arts, ECA students learn alongside practicing artists and peers as they discover their creative potential. At ECA, we question and collaborate, play and perform, as we explore ourselves and our world.

Our instructors are practicing artists and professionals who are committed to supporting you as you discover your creative potential. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work as: actors, choreographers, composers and conductors, dancers, digital artists, filmmakers, musicians, journalists, painters, photographers, poets, screenwriters and so much more.

THE PROCESS

This application is a chance for you to introduce yourself to ECA.
A completed application consists of four parts:
          1.      Student Information
          2.     Teacher Recommendation
          3.     Counselor Recommendation
          4.     Submission of Creative Work and Personal Response

RECOMMENDERS

The process has changed for teacher and counselor recommendations. Once a student has started their application, they will see an option in their application to provide the email addresses for one teacher and one counselor. Once their application is submitted, each recommender will receive an email which will allow them access to the recommendation form.  We will no longer take paper copies of recommendations for students in order to streamline the application review process. Please check you spam folder for an email from Accepted.

Additional Notes:

  • Grab a parent when you're ready to begin your application - you'll need their information.  Parents will need to create an account, before any applicants under the age of 16 years old can apply.

  • If you are a Parent/Teacher/Guidance Counselor assisting a student with applying, please see this video for help with setting up your accounts.

  • CREATIVE WRITING APPLICANTS: You will notice that the Accepted Platform does not currently have a Creative Writing discipline option when you create an account (their development team is currently working to change this). In the meantime, feel free to select any of the listed disciplines as it will not affect your ECA application. Once logged in, you can select the Creative Writing Application and continue to apply as normal.

  • You can save your work along the way and log back in to complete it at any time.

  • For assistance with technical issues, please visit/submit a request to the Accepted Applicant Support Desk.

  • Applications will open for submission in October
