About Speech and Languages Services
In response to the ongoing shortage of speech pathologists in the state, this department’s mission is to provide high-quality support through a variety of speech and language services customized to meet specific needs in your schools. Our team of licensed and dedicated speech pathologists is ready to work in partnership with you to enhance communication skills and promote academic success among students.
ACES Speech and Language Services will also be offering professional learning opportunities designed to increase best practices among speech pathologists and other applicable professionals in the districts.
Services
Short-Term and Long-Term Services
Whether your district requires short-term direct services to cover a leave or long-term speech and language support, our flexible options can be customized to meet your requirements. We are committed to delivering effective and results-driven services that align with your educational goals.
Per Diem Services to Conduct Evaluations/Re-Evaluations
We offer per diem services specifically for individual speech and language assessments. Our licensed professionals will conduct thorough assessments, provide detailed reports, and aid in personalized intervention planning. Evaluations offered include standardized testing, dynamic assessment, or play-based assessment, as appropriate. for evaluation include language comprehension, verbal and written expression, phonological processing, articulation, fluency, and nonverbal communication skills.
Professional Development
We are pleased to offer tailored professional development support with a focus on enhancing the knowledge of your district’s speech pathologists and/or members of your special education team. We will work closely with district stakeholders to identify a professional development plan that will address specific areas for growth. A wide range of trending topics will be offered including the latest research in speech pathology, effective communication strategies, technology integration, and more. We aim to empower speech pathologists and educators with skills and knowledge to provide high-quality services to students with diverse needs.
