Biggs Promoted to ACES Marketing and Outreach Department

ACES Tenisha Biggs(North Haven, CT. June 20, 2019) Tenisha Biggs will join Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) Marketing and Outreach Department as its Public Relations Assistant, effective July 1st. The PR Assistant is a new position for ACES that was created to help the Marketing and Outreach Platform support the agency’s growth and need for increased and strengthened internal and external communications.

A partial list of duties the 29-year old Stamford native will be responsible for are coordinating event logistics, marketing research for communication campaigns, department administration, press releases and announcements, social media and blog posts, and other public relations duties. Biggs was the secretary to the ACES Assistant Executive Director of Schools and will now report to Dr. Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan, ACES Chief of Marketing and Outreach platform.

“We are so excited to have Tenisha join our team because of her unique training, education, and administrative experience. She has a keen understanding of ACES and will be a great asset to the agency as we look to improve our internal communications and expand and strengthen our external communications. She has done a wonderful job already in various roles at ACES and have no doubt that she will excel in her new role,” said Rossetti-Ryan. “This new position is a result of our organization’s growth and increased focus on ensuring our staff, students, families, and community are kept abreast of everything we are doing here.”

Biggs joined ACES in 2015 and earned a Bachelor’s of Science undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University in 2012 and a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Administration from Lewis University in 2017. Professionally, she has been a member of the Association of Executive and Administrative Professionals (AEAP) and American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP). In college, she was Member of College of Professional Studies Honor Society, College of Professional Studies Dean’s List, and member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

Biggs begins her new duties on July 1, 2019, and will be headquartered in the ACES Peter C. Young building located at 350 State Street, North Haven.
