Glenn Archer has been an active member of the ACES Business Advisory Council (BAC) since 2010. He was appointed co-chair in January 2015. In addition to his work with ACES Business Advisory Council, he is an active member of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce where he serves as an Ambassador. Glenn was honored to be named the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer of the Year in 2012. Additionally, he has served as Chair of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s “The Big Connect” Expo Committee since 2008. Glenn is also the Vice-Chair of the Leadership Board of the American Lung Association, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army - New Haven Corps.
Co-Chair, ACES Business Advisory Council / Canon Solutions America
Mary Stager was appointed Co-Chair of the Business Advisory Council in October 2015. Leveraging her 12+ year background in the office solutions industry, today Mary is an Account Executive with Canon Solutions America (CSA) helping businesses in the areas of print and document management to drive out cost and increase workflow efficiencies. Having lost her mom as a teen, Mary learned early how much people matter and how precious life is which has led her to be recognized for her positive nature and desire to help others improve their higher quality life. This has led her to serve in her community as a board member for The Cove Center for Grieving Children. Additionally, she has lead women's group in the CT Shoreline area to help empower women in their work and life.
ACES Coordinator of Work Services
Gene Crocco has been instrumental in the development and direction of ACES vocational programs since their inception in 1987. He is the co-founder of ACES Business Advisory Council. Gene has overseen unprecedented growth of the work program over the years that has provided millions of dollars of work opportunities for both students and adults served. He has seen the positive difference work can make in people’s lives and is proud to be of service to thousands of students and adults over his career. He received the Vocational Service Award (VSA) in 2007 and the ACES Executive Directors Recognition Award in 2014 for his long term commitment and excellence to ACES.
Marilyn Ferguson is a retired Vice President and Small Business Loan officer at TD Bank. She has been active in the community, serving as an ambassador and on the membership committee for the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years. She served as co-chair of ACES Business Advisory Council from its planning days in 1998 through February of 2015. Marilyn has been a board member of the Hamden Economic Development Corporation, as well as co-chair of the West Haven Chamber Women in Business group. She was recognized by the ACES Education Foundation for their long term support of ACES Vocational Services. Marilyn has also participated in a wide array of local nonprofit fundraisers and activities.
Chair Emeritus / Coldwell Banker
Mary-Ann is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker of Orange and has been selling real estate in the region for the past 28 years. She has been recognized with the Five Star Realtor Award for each of the last five years by her satisfied clients. Mary-Ann has given back to her community in a wide variety of roles: as a member of the Board of Directors of the West Haven Chamber, as a member of the Orange Chamber Women's Leadership Committee, and as a participant in many other local non-profit activities. Mary-Ann has been recognized by the ACES Education Foundation for her long term support of ACES Vocational Services. She has served on ACES Business Advisory Council since 2001, and served as Co-chair of the Council from 2010-2015.
Maureen is an Employment Specialist at ACES ACCESS Program. She works with the Individual Supported Employment (ISE) program. Maureen has been a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2015.
Lesley is a 2009 Quinnipiac graduate from the School of Business majoring in Marketing and Management. With eight years of experience as a recruiter, she started her career recruiting in finance and health insurance. Last year, she joined United Personnel and has expanded her recruiting efforts to other industries including manufacturing, accounting, engineering, and healthcare. Lesley’s favorite part of recruiting is matching candidates with careers they truly enjoy that will change their lives for the better. She is involved in local charities including The Ronald McDonald House and Vista Vocational. Lesley became a member of the ACES Business Advisory Council in 2017.
Wepawaug-Flagg Credit Union
Michael is the Manager of Marketing and Strategic Outreach for Wepawaug-Flagg Federal Credit Union, a non-profit financial institution located in Hamden, Connecticut. Michael is a graduate of Trinity College, where he received an MA in Economics. Michael has spent the last 8 years working in Credit Unions and is passionate about teaching financial education for all ages. He has been a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2016.
Disability Resource Coordinator
Barbara is the Disability Resource Coordinator for the Workforce Alliance Disability Employment Initiative for Youth, connecting individuals with disabilities to employment and training resources through the four American Job Centers in the South Central region of CT. Barbara has over twenty years of experience in workforce development and youth program management. Prior to her current position, Barbara worked for seventeen years as a Career Specialist for Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES), managing WIOA youth employment grants and implementing career development and employment systems for youth, with and without disabilities.

ACES Transition Coordinator
William has been a Special Education Teacher at ACES for 45 years. For the last 10 years he has been a Vocational Teacher/Coordinator at Whitney High East/West and CREATE. He is responsible for providing students with vocational instruction and working with parents, districts and local agencies to transition students from school to work or day programs when they graduate.
David joined the ACES Business Advisory Council in 2009. He was introduced to the ACES Business Advisory Council when ACES’ students began working in the Town Fair Tire warehouse. He has been with Town Fair Tire for 31 years. David began his career at Town Fair Tire as a salesman. After two years, he moved into a store manager position. He then served as Town Fair Tire’s Director of Distribution for 10 years. He moved into his current position, Director of Special Projects, in 2013. In 2017, David became a member of the ACES Education Foundation Board of Directors.
Eric Melillo is the President and CEO of the COFORGE Marketing Agency. COFORGE is an award-winning agency servicing a B2B clientele from their offices in New Haven, CT and New York City. Eric is also a Senior Brand Strategist and internet marketing expert as well as a lover of family, friends, and life. Eric enjoys good health, Tae Kwon-Do and discovering the most influential marketing trends. He lives in the North East where he helps clients from all around the world grow their brands through cutting edge Digital Marketing diversities in SEO, PPC, Sales Automation, Conversion Analytics and "Big Picture" Marketing Strategy.
ACES Transition Coordinator
Carolyn Nelson has been a Special Education Teacher at ACES for over 30 years. Carolyn was selected as ACES 2001-2002 Teacher of the Year and received the ACES Vocational Services Award (VSA) in 2013. Since 2005 she has been the Transition Coordinator and Vocational Teacher at Whitney East; in this role, she works with students and families to help plan for their transition after graduation. She also coordinates the vocational plans and the job site schedule for about 75 students. She plays an active role in planning the Annual BAC Employer Recognition Dinner and serves as a liaison between the council members and the ACES community. She enjoys finding new work experience opportunities and advocating for her students.
ACES - Whitney High North
Fred C. Oglesby has been a School Social Worker (MSW) at ACES for 25 years. Fred is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, with a 6th year degree in School Leadership. Fred splits responsibilities between working directly with students and assisting with developing transition plans for graduating seniors and 5th Year students. This includes community based job placements, referrals to support agencies, and managing the school’s Extended School Year (ESY) program. He also works with the school’s Driver’s Education Program (DEP) and the ServSafe and IT credentialing classes. Fred enjoys helping students achieve short and long range goals that are related to real world experiences and future success.
Tony has been a member of ACES Business Advisory Council since 2016. He is a Realtor with the Dow Realty Company and provides commercial real estate services to the community.

After graduating with a BFA in Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, David spent almost 4 years in Los Angeles, California working in comedy. David returned to Connecticut and spent 7 years working for various non-profit providers involved with direct care and managing group homes / day programs for developmentally disabled adults. During that time he obtained an MS in Management and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Hartford while deciding to focus on a career direction in business. David has worked in financial services for 19 years while spending the past 7 as a Connecticut based senior financial advisor for VALIC Financial Advisors.
Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan, EdD

Dr. Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan is ACES Chief of Marketing & Outreach. Before joining ACES, Evelyn worked with a number of non-profit organizations in New York City including, the Museum of the City of New York, the National Center for Restructuring Education, Schools and Teaching at Teachers College, and the Thyroid, Head and Neck Cancer Foundation. In 2010 she was knighted Cavaliere dell'Ordine Della Stella Della Solidarieta Italiana by the Italian Government for contributions in promoting commercial and cultural exchanges between Italy and the U.S. and for her leadership of the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. She’s been a member of the ACES Business Advisory Council since 2012.
Mike is a Sales Associate for Globelle Energy and Freeman Roberts. He has been a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2006.
Kim Dorey Wallis
Kim is an Employment Specialist at ACES ACCESS Program. She works with the Group Supported Employment (GSE) program and ACES Designs by ACCESS. Kim has been a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2007.
