ACES Center for Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders (CASDD) was established in 2010 as a hub for ACES Behavior Services and Autism Programs.  The Center houses the Science-based Approaches to Independence and Life Skills (SAILS) program for children 11 to 21 years old, an extensive academic and resource library, offices, workspaces, training areas, and contrived home and community environments.  These environments include a living room, a bedroom, a rec room, a home style kitchen, a dentist office, a hair salon, and a convenience store are used to assess and teach students a variety of adaptive, executive, and recreational skills.  Operation of the Center’s educational and clinical programs is based in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with program implementation provided through transdisciplinary teams of qualified professionals through the use of evidence-based practices.
