ACES Welcomes Kevin Mark Buno Jr. As New Principal of ACES Educational Center for the Arts

(North Haven, CT – April 20, 2023) Area Cooperative Education Services (ACES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Buno as the new principal of ACES Educational Center for the Arts (ECA). Kevin Buno brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. Among his many recognitions, Kevin Buno received the CT High School Musical Theatre Award for "Best Musical Direction". Kevin is committed to providing ACES ECA students with a high-quality education that prepares them for success in the future.
Kevin Buno is presently Assistant Principal at Guilford High School and he previously was K-12 Arts Supervisor for Fairfield Public Schools. Kevin comes highly recommended. He holds a Six-Year Diploma in Educational Leadership from the University of Connecticut; he has a Master of Music from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science from The College of Saint Rose.
As the new principal of ACES Educational Center for the Arts, Kevin will be responsible for promoting equity and diversity among students and staff within the magnet school, implementing practices to recruit, select, support, and retain highly qualified and competent staff, and leading in a spirit of collaboration with families and stakeholders to respond to diverse needs and interests to promote a positive culture and climate. Kevin is excited to work with the faculty, staff, and students at ACES ECA to build upon the school's rich history of academic excellence and community involvement.

Kevin Buno will officially assume the role of principal on July 1, 2023, and looks forward to meeting with parents, students, and community members in the coming weeks and months.
