Freda Shares Stories with Clintonville and Fair Haven Fourth-Graders

On Jan. 15, 44 4th-graders and their classroom teachers from Clintonville School in North Haven and Fair Haven PreK-8 School in New Haven spent their final session together interviewing North Haven First Selectman Michael Freda as part of the year-long ACES's Sharing Our Stories inter-district program.
In its fourth year of implementation, ACES's Sharing Our Stories seeks to reduce racial, economic and ethnic isolation and increase academic achievement of students. It gathered 90 students from four urban/suburban classrooms and three districts to meet with their peer partners on six separate occasions.
