Credit Recovery Due to Absences
- Student must attend at least class for at least 30 hours.
- No more than 2 absences allowed.
Student Who Failed for the Year
- Student must attend at least class for at least 40 hours.
- No more than 2 absences allowed.
- Student must pass the unit assessments.
- Student must also pass the final exam unless they have already passed that assessment. Exam reviews will be supplied.
- Per the Student Handbook, a student will receive a grade of a D- on the transcript for the failed course, regardless of the summer school grade.
Course Advancement
For Geometry Only
- Students must complete a minimum of 120 hours of combined class and on-line time.
- Students may have access to the program starting in mid-June and must pass the programs unit assessments. These grades will be tracked.
- Students will take an abbreviated midterm and the full final that would be administered during the regular school year. Final average will dictate placement for the next school year and regardless of outcome, no credit is assigned.
