Our annual spring family BBQ was a huge success with 50 families joining us this afternoon. It certainly was a fun for all event.
Our annual poetry jam held yesterday was a big success. Our special guest, Shelby Ludden, started us off with her original poem. Fun fact, Shelby started the poetry jam over 20 years ago! Thanks to Mr. Porto and Ms. Hedberg for continuing the tradition.
Congratulations to Ms, Lugo for becoming ACES TEACHER OF THE YEAR 2025!
Today we celebrated Safe Days here at Mill. So many students accomplished and participated in our awards and pizza party.
Thanks to Ms. Hedberg who put together a great day celebrating Read Across America! Thanks to all the ACES staff (past and present) and members of the community (like the mayor) who came out and read to us!
Mill Road's new therapy puppy started work today! Big brother Nico is teaching little brother Finn the ropes and all that goes in to being such an important asset to the school! Huge shout out to the ACES Foundation for funding our newest member through a grant!

Students in our 400 wing have been working so hard to learn new things and grow in some pretty amazing ways! They worked very hard as a team towards a common goal and earned and ice cream party for reaching that goal!
Today marks our 100th day of school this year.
