Our resident therapy puppy, Finn Miller, officially turns 1 year old today! It's been quite the adventure to see how big he has grown over the last year, and we love how much joy and excitement he brings to the school daily! Happy birthday Finn!
Our 500 wing staff put on another holiday luncheon with a pajama party today for the hallway. What a perfect way to get ready to kick off the holiday season!
ACES Mill Road School will operate on a 2 hour delay, Monday, December 15, 2025.
Today was our annual Holiday Sing A Long. Mrs. Johnson led the students in a diverse musical presentation bringing smiles and holiday cheer to all!
Did you know we have two full-time therapy dogs available to students throughout the day? It’s one of the supports that makes Mill Road so special!
Our 3rd annual Tree of Hope designed by the students in our Peer Engagment Program. Saturday starts the preview and bidding of trees. Some great looking trees this year! Find them at Long Wharf Maritime Center.
Our annual Turkey Trot took place today! Look at all the fun we had! Wishing all our friends and families a happy holiday full of gratitude.
Today, our 500 wing family celebrated their first annual Friendsgiving. The staff brought in all kinds of goodies for everyone to share, and then we played a few rounds of bingo for lots of extra bonus points! Everyone had so many smiles and left with full bellies!
Over the last 2 years, the 500 wing has spent a lot of time working on restorative practices and building community. And what better way to bring people together than with food! Nothing quite like a team-wide brunch full of good food, fun music, and some bonding to close out the week!

Staff and students in the 500 wing celebrated the first two AMAZING weeks back with a cookout! Thanks to Mr. Rivera for being our grill master!
The students had an absolute blast at our Made in CT Fair and Touch-a-Truck event yesterday! This was the finale to our summer session in which students learned about all the incredible products and inventions created right here in their own backyard!
