TUITION PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
TUITION FOR 2023-24 ACES ARC PROGRAMS = $5,000.00.
Participants may pay tuition in four (4) installments of $1,250.00 on the following schedule:*
- August 31, 2023
- October 31, 2023
- January 31, 2024
- March 31, 2024
*Participants accepted after the first payment deadline should refer to the acceptance letter for adjusted installment due dates and policies.
- Tuition payments can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or check.
- To pay by credit card, click here.
- Make checks payable to “ACES” and mail to John Gustafson, ACES ARC, 205 Skiff Street, Hamden, CT 06517. Write the program name on the memo/notes line.
- A late fee of $25.00 will be charged to any payment received 5 business days after the due date.
- Checks returned due to insufficient funds will be subject to a $15.00 fee.
- Participants who have not paid within 15 business days after any payment deadline will be withdrawn from the program.
Payment is acknowledgement of participation, and signifies your understanding of the terms and requirements of the program. Failure to meet these requirements for any reason (other than the most extenuating of circumstances) may result in your removal from the program and forfeit of tuition paid.
DISTRICT PAYMENT
If a district is paying for tuition (full or partial), the district must complete the ACES ARC District Payment Commitment Form. Districts may be informed of participant progress in order to provide additional support for the participant and ensure their success in the program.
TUITION REFUND POLICY
Should a participant choose to withdraw from an ACES ARC program, the following policy will apply. Refund requests must be emailed to the ARC Project Coordinator at jgustafson@aces.org.
Date of emailed withdrawal request |
Refund Amount |
Prior to first scheduled session |
100% of tuition paid to date |
Within 15 business days after the first scheduled session |
100% of tuition paid to date less a 15% refund processing fee |
Within 15 business days after the 2nd tuition installment deadline |
2nd installment amount only, less a 15% refund processing fee |
Within 15 business days after the 3rd tuition installment deadline |
3rd installment amount only, less a 15% refund processing fee |
Within 15 business days after the 4th tuition installment deadline |
4th installment amount only, less a 15% refund processing fee |
Please note: Application fees are non-refundable. The cost of any books/materials not returned to ACES will be deducted from the total refund.
This policy and schedule does not apply to participants removed from the course due to:
- Failure to pay tuition installments within 15 business days after payment deadlines
- Failure to meet the program terms and requirements
Either of the above two circumstances will result in forfeiture of any tuition paid.
Should a cohort be cancelled by ACES due to low enrollment, participants will either be offered a spot in a different cohort or will receive a full refund of any tuition paid.
Additional state/program testing fees may apply. See individual program Frequently Asked Questions for further details.
