The Primary 1 Team is for kindergarten through second grade students. We have two Special Education classrooms, and one New Haven Urban Youth Classroom. The Urban Youth classroom is for students, in both special and regular education. Each classroom has approximately seven to ten students. Altogether, the team has two certified Special Education Teachers, one dual certified Special Education/Elementary Education Teacher, three Teacher Assistant Drivers, one assigned Behavioral Technician and two Social Workers. Within our classrooms, most of our students receive Occupational Therapy, Literacy Intervention, Behavioral services and Speech and Language Therapy. We teach all academic areas including Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies
