Magnet School Parent Choice

ACES Magnet School Parent Choice is coordinated by ACES. Families in any non-partner school district can apply to a lottery for open seats at ACES Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School in Hamden or at ACES at Chase in Waterbury. Sibling preference will only apply if the current student is in Grades K-8.

A Note on Transportation:
All Wintergreens families that have 20 or more students in a district will receive transportation. Families with less than 20 students in their district will not receive ACES transportation. These families will receive a travel subsidy funded by ACES.
ACES Transportation is defined as: Students who ride on the “Regular” bus.
Funding for Students that require specialized transportation (as defined in an IEP or 504 plan as a related service) will be provided by the students “District of Residences.”
