ACES Unveils First Full-Size Electric School Bus in Connecticut

ACES unveiled the first full-size electric school bus in Connecticut at an event on Friday, October 15th at the ACES Transportation headquarters at 60 United Drive in North Haven. The electric vehicle (EV) and the associated charging infrastructure was made possible by matching funds awarded to ACES under the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) grant administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).

ACES Receives $4,000 Grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to Support Youth Literacy Initiatives

In the Promoting Literacy for Students with Developmental Disabilities (PLSDD) program, funded by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, the ACES Assistive Technology department will use a service dog (Preston) trained to work with disabled students.

COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS ARE COMING TO AREA COOPERATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES SCHOOLS: No-Cost, Walk-Up Vaccinations Available to Anyone

ACES will be offering FREE COVID-19 vaccinations at several of our schools on Friday, October 1st from 9AM-1PM. The shots are available to ALL and no appointment is needed. The vaccinations will be provided by the CT Department of Public Health and run by Griffin Health.
