What if my organization does not have this type of insurance?

If your organization does not already have an insurance provider you may wish to take advantage of Area Cooperative Educational Services Tenant User Liability Insurance Program (TULIP)

Purpose: Individuals and Organizations that use ACES facilities (Tenant Users) are not covered under the ACES’ liability insurance. ACES requires that Tenant Users provide insurance coverage for events held at these facilities. The TULIP Program offers low cost General Liability, Liquor Liability Insurance and Third Party Property Damage for users of ACES facilities. This insurance protects both ACES and the Tenant User against claims by “third parties” who may be injured or cause property damage during a private event.

TULIP instruction Sheet

Workers Compensation and Employers’ Liability coverage:  Client is responsible to include all coverage that applies per State of Connecticut requirements.

District Closures:   When the District is closed, facility use is canceled.   For information about District closures due to inclement weather, click here.
