FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(North Haven, CT – August 9, 2021) Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) is proud to announce the appointment of William Grimm as Director of Talent Development. He joins ACES after spending the past six years as principal with the Guilford Public School District.
“We are thrilled to have Bill join our team and take on this new role. His overall experience as a school administrator paired with his commitment to leadership and equity make him the ideal fit to identify and implement initiatives that will encourage professional learning and growth within our organization,” said Dr. Thomas Danehy, ACES Executive Director.
Grimm is an experienced leader and understands Connecticut’s south-central region having taught in Cheshire and worked as a principal in Portland, East Haven and Guilford for the past 20 years. He holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from Sacred Heart University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Quinnipiac College. Additionally, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
“I'm excited to join ACES and to collaborate with staff throughout the organization. I've been involved with ACES throughout my career in education, through their professional development services and as a participant in the Education Policy Fellowship Program. I hope to provide support that encourages growth and excellence toward the goal of providing a positive environment for students, staff, and families,” stated Grimm.
Grimm assumed the post on August 2, 2021 and will be headquartered in ACES Peter C. Young Building located at 350 State Street, North Haven.
