Required Dance Performance Dates

Rough Edges:

Wednesday, December 6 (7pm) and Thursday, December 7 (7pm). Dancers’ call @ 5pm.
Required technical rehearsals: November 27-December 7 (1-4:10pm)

Faculty Repertory:

Wednesday, March 14 (2pm and 7pm) and Thursday, March 15 (7pm).  Dancers’ call @ 5pm.
Required technical rehearsals: March 7 – March 15 (1-4:10pm)

Senior Choreography Showcase:

Wednesday, May 23 (7pm) and Thursday, May 24 (2pm and 7pm). Dancers’ call @ 5pm.
Required technical rehearsals: May 15 – May 24 (1-4:10pm)

Please check your calendars for any conflicts with the above dates. At ECA, all technical rehearsals and all performances are considered your FINAL EXAMS – ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. Following each final performance, all dancers must stay for strike.

ECA Required Dance Clothing

Leotards, tights, leggings (girls); dance belts, loose fitting t-shirts, fitted shorts or sweat pants (boys). Ballet shoes are required for ballet. Dancers may be allowed to layer clothing with tight fitting t-shirts. This is up to the teacher’s discretion. Jewelry must be removed before class.  No loose fitting jazz pants, sweats, sport pants, big T-shirts or jewelry can be worn in class.  Please bring extra dance clothing to place in your locker.

Dancers will not be allowed to take class without appropriate dance clothing.
(If you forget dance clothing please come to the dance office at the beginning of the day to see if arrangements can be made to provide you with dance clothes. Please wash and return borrowed clothing so that it will be available for others. Students who fail to return clothing will be charged the cost of item borrowed.)
