Healthstat and ACES Open Health Center for Employees
January 11th, 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 11, 2021
North Haven, CT: Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES), a Regional Education Service Center, will open the doors to its new Smart Care health center at 261 Skiff Street, Hamden, near its Central Office on January 18, 2021. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will occur on February 3, 2021 at 12pm. In partnership with Healthstat, Inc., a leading provider of on-site, near site, shared-site, and virtual employer-sponsored health centers, the new facility will make high quality and affordable healthcare more accessible for over 1000 ACES employees. The dedicated health center and additional resources provided by Healthstat will provide ACES employees full access to a nationally recognized, proprietary healthcare delivery model that centers on patient engagement to improve employee health and lower healthcare costs for employers and their employees. Healthstat health centers replace traditional healthcare with minimal wait times and little to no copay. All services integrate with electronic medical records, to ensure continuity of care with on-site health center providers.
“This new on-site health center is an invaluable benefit to our staff and agency,” said Dr. Thomas M. Danehy, Executive Director at ACES. “It is the latest example of our commitment to ensuring the well-being of our staff and the resources needed to be the best and healthiest versions of themselves at work and at home.”
Staffed by Healthstat, the ACES Smart Care health center will provide convenient access to a full suite of industry-leading healthcare services, including on-site primary healthcare, wellness and preventative care, health assessment and more. Healthstat has an exclusive partnership agreement with Johns Hopkins HealthCare to implement employee health programs developed by Johns Hopkins Medicine.
“Healthstat is dedicated to inspiring healthy change by making healthcare and wellness more accessible to diverse workforces throughout the U.S.,” said Crockett Dale, CEO of Healthstat. “We’re proud to partner with ACES to support the health and well-being of their employees to ensure they achieve their full potential for health and wellness.”
