Quindao Education Delegation visits ECA

Thirty six educators from one of China's top ranked schools, Qindao No. 2 High School visited ACES ECA, on Thursday, September 28, to connect to Director Jason Hiruo to learn more about contemporary arts instruction at the high school level. The delegation wtoured classrooms, observed instruction, and concluded their day with a Q&A session regarding pedagogy, rigor, and the application of STEM within the Arts.

ACES International will facilitate a discussion and planning phase to develop global competency opportunities for Connecticut students and a visiting scholar exchange project for Connecticut school districts. 

ACES ECA is recognized as a national model for contemporary arts in Asia and will receive professional delegations throughout the year to highlight instruction and the progressive learning environment ECA models.
