Gretchen Hary holds a BM in percussion performance from Boston Conservatory, a MM in percussion pedagogy from Belmont University and a Graduate Certificate in Music and Autism from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee.  She has studied under Tim Genis, Nancy Zeltsman, Patrick Hollenbeck and Christopher Norton. Ms. Hary is a freelance percussionist and arranger who performed at PASIC 2004 with the Belmont Percussion Ensemble.  Her extensive teaching includes private lessons on marimba, timpani, orchestral snare and drum set.  She also teaches percussion ensembles, special needs students, theory and musicianship.  Ms. Hary currently teaches at ACES Educational Center for the Arts and is founder of the C.S.I Drumming program.  This Fall, Ms. Hary will be joining the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs as a private instructor as part of their new online program ConnectABLE.
