Schedules/ Assignments

TEMS teachers will be available for questions and support daily from 9-3. Attached are suggested learning schedules by grade level. During the scheduled live learning times you will be able to participate in live learning sessions with your teachers and classmates. If you are unable to participate at the suggested time, you will have access to all of the learning whenever you are able to access the materials. All work must be submitted on Friday of each week or the day your teacher has assigned as a due date. 

Students: check your email and all of your teacher’s google classroom (or canvas) pages everyday!

Parent Communications

We use Parent Square as our primary communication tool with families.

Special Education

We will do everything we can to provide your child with the services they need to be able to fully access their learning. Please reach out to your child’s case manager with specific questions.

Tech Help

If you are having problems with your chromebook please contact your child's team leader or morning meeting teacher through parentsquare or email and they will put in a helpdesk ticket with our technicians.  Staff Directory

Each town/district is offering Grab and Go breakfast and lunch options for students. Please click on the links below to review the programs for each town or click here for a list of food service plans for most of our towns.

Student Support

We are here to help! If your child requires support due to increased anxiety or is struggling during this time, please reach out to any of our support services staff.  All mental health service providers are available for support throughout this time. Please visit their google classroom page for additional stress relieving activities and suggestions.

Principals' Corner

Principal--Karen Habegger

Karen Habegger, Principal, oversees teaching and learning, magnet school recruitment, community connections, budgeting, and all staff and student programming.   People should feel free to contact her for any questions, concerns, or issues regarding our current distance learning program or any other questions regarding Thomas Edison Magnet Middle School.  khabegger@aces.org

Assistant Principal--Megan Conatser

Megan Conatser, Assistant Principal at TEMS, oversees language arts, social studies, and music departments. She also works with all 8th grade students and with 6th grade teams 6-1 and 6-2.
