ACES International representatives Jason Hiruo and Tim Howes traveled to the 2018 Beijing CIEET Expo to promote ACES and the Educational Center for the Arts. ECA was a focal point for the Ministry of Education as a special guest and model for arts education as they gain recognition in Asia. With over 20,000 public attendees visiting the expo in two days, the ACES International (AI) booth received a high volume of inquiries from families, schools, and universities seeking further opportunity to connect and collaborate through the Arts. ECA promoted the new Summer Institute and international enrollment to the school. Facilitated by ACES International, ECA students return to China in three weeks for their study tour focused on cultural competency development and partner school exchange. The students will represent ECA in Beijing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, and Shanghai.
