ACES Mill Academy Students Learn and Celebrate during Day of Kindness

This past Valentine’s Day was especially sweet for the students at the Area Cooperative Educational Service’s (ACES) Mill Academy as they gave back to the community on its annual “Day of Kindness.” Students earned points since the beginning of the school year for designated projects and activities.

Parents who want to enroll their children in Area Cooperative Educational Services’ (ACES) Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School (WIMS) located in Hamden or Thomas Edison Middle School (TEMS) located in Meriden have until 3:30p.m. on February 28th to officially apply for the 2019-20 school year.

ACES Education Foundation’s 16th Annual Gala Will Be A Night To Remember

Always one of the most anticipated events of the spring in southern Connecticut, The ACES Education Foundation 16th Annual Gala will definitely be a night to remember. The Foundation’s Gala, the largest fund raising event of the year for the non-profit organization, is going to be held on March 28th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven.

Drapp Joins Area Cooperative Educational Services

Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) is proud to announce the appointment of Edward Drapp as Director, Fiscal Services. Drapp comes to ACES after 25 years as a district administrator including 18 years as a school finance director and 7 years as superintendent. He will report to ACES Executive Director Thomas Danehy who made the announcement.

Jeff Glagowski Joins ACES Marketing and Outreach Department

Jeff Glagowski has joined Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) as its Website Manager/Digital Media Specialist. The 36-year old West Haven native will direct all of ACES vibrant website, digital, and social media initiatives. Glagowski will report to Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan, ACES Chief of Marketing and Outreach platform.

Students Make Katharine Hepburn Theatre Come To Life

January 11, 2019) Giving even more credence that life imitates art more often than vice versa, a creative group of 2nd graders from ACES Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School (WIMS) located in Hamden will explore the iconic Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center and bring past movie heroes back to life.
