The Connecticut Alliance of Regional Educational Service Centers in partnership with the Connecticut State Department of Education Service Centers is the Verizon Thinkfinity State Education Partner in Connecticut. Through a grant from the Verizon Foundation, the RESC Alliance provides professional development opportunities designed to assist K-12 educators integrate Verizon Thinkfinity's high quality resources into the curriculum to enhance student learning.

What is Verizon Thinkfinity?

Thinkfinity.org, the Verizon Foundation's free, comprehensive website, contains thousands of educational resources, including standards-based, grade-specific, K-12 lesson plans, student interactive tools and reference materials.

Content is provided through a partnership between the Verizon Foundation and 11 of the nation's leading educational organizations:

The American Association for the Advancement of Science, The International Reading Association, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, National Center for Family Literacy, Council for Economic Education, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Council of Teachers of English, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, National Geographic Society, ProLiteracy and The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.

Verizon Thinkfinity also offers a free, robust professional-development program for teachers and trainers. Verizon Thinkfinity is a PD Affiliate of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills. The Verizon Thinkfinity Integration Framework, which is at the core of the professional development program, has been aligned to the refreshed National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T). The Verizon Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Verizon Communications.
