ACES EIBI is a highly structured approach to teaching which is carefully designed and follows specific patterns of instruction. It is based on well-studied principals of human learning and designed primarily for young children (ranging from three to 12 years of age) whose clinical diagnoses falls along the autism spectrum and/or who present significant behavioral challenges.
The ACES EIBI program is staffed by qualified, certified professionals in the areas of behavior analysis, education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other related services. This trans-disciplinary team works collaboratively to assess individual student needs, develop optimal individualized instructional programming, and implement empirically-validated techniques derived from more than four decades of behavior analytic research with children.

The ACES EIBI school year is 190 school days extending from mid-August to the latter part of June. An additional summer program is offered in throughout July. This scheduling permits ACES to offer quality services to students on a year-round basis (with no more than a two-week interruption in educational services).
Capitalizing on a one-to-one ratio, instructors trained in Applied Behavior Analysis provide highly individualized instruction to students. Each group of eight to 10 students and ABA instructors is co-led and supervised by a state-certified Special Education teacher and a nationally-certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This comprehensive approach, together with a strong commitment to work with parents and families, provides the ACES EIBI students the best hope of developing to their fullest potential.
