Magnet Schools Parent Choice
This program is the result of legislation passed by the Connecticut General Assembly. It is a special application process to fill vacant seats that remain after the normal application process for students in the partner districts of an Interdistrict Magnet School. Two of ACES magnet schools qualify for this program. They are Thomas Edison Middle School in Meriden and Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School in Hamden.
Thomas Edison Middle School partners include Meriden, Middletown, Regional District #13 and Wallingford. If you are a resident of these five school districts, you should apply for admission through the Superintendent’s Office in your school district.
Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School partners include Hamden, Meriden, New Haven, Wallingford and Woodbridge. If you are a resident of these five school districts, you should apply for admission through the Superintendent’s Office in your school district.
