From Interstate 91 Heading North
Get off at Exit 3 (Trumbull Street). Get into the middle lane at the end of the ramp. Go straight at the light at the end of the ramp across Orange Street. Take a right at the next light onto Whitney Avenue. Travel 2.4 miles on Whitney Avenue.
After you pass the reservoir on the right, watch for Playwright's Pub on the left. Take a left at that light onto Putnam Avenue. Go to the end of Putnam (you will see Webster Bank straight ahead).
Take a left at the end of Putnam and get immediately into the right lane. Take a right at the next light by the Hess gas station. Bear right onto Woodin Avenue. Take Woodin to the end (go straight across Pine Rock Avenue at the light). Take a right onto Wintergreen Ave. The school will be a few blocks down on the right.
From Interstate 91 Heading South
Get off at Exit 10. Proceed to first exit off connector and take a left at the bottom of the ramp. Go to traffic light and take a left onto Hartford Turnpike. Follow to the second traffic light and take a right onto Skiff St.
Follow Skiff St. past Dixwell Avenue and take a left onto Mix Avenue. Continue on Mix Avenue until you reach a T intersection with Benham Street, and take a right. Follow Benham to Lane Street (just after radio towers on the right and a school on the left) and take a left. Follow Lane street, past a stop sign to Wintergreen Avenue. Take a right and follow Wintergreen Avenue for 1.4 miles. It goes up a long hill and curves sharply to the left. After the curve, Wintergreen is on your left in less than a mile.
From the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway Heading North or South
Get off at Exit 60. Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Dixwell Avenue. Travel down Dixwell to Benham Street (right past Dunkin Donuts on your right). Follow Benham to Lane Street (just after radio towers on the right and a school on the left) and take a Left.
Follow Lane Street, past a stop sign, to Wintergreen Avenue. Take a right and follow Wintergreen Avenue for 1.4 miles. It goes up a long hill and curves sharply to the left. After the curve, Wintergreen is on your left in less than a mile.
From Southern Connecticut State University
Take Wintergreen Avenue north out of Southern Connecticut. The road forks after a cemetery; stay on Wintergreen by taking the left fork. Go across a short bridge to a stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign, and follow Wintergreen north past the Connecticut Job Corps Center to a stop sign. Take a left (staying on Wintergreen Ave.), towards West Rock Ridge State Park. Cross under the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway. Wintergreen Avenue twists right and left and then straightens out. After the road straightens, Wintergreen is about .3 miles ahead on your right.
