From the North (Hartford) via Interstate 91:
I-91 South to exit 18 (I-691 - West connector). Take the first exit (#8 - Broad Street)*. At the end of the ramp take a right onto Broad Street. Proceed through two traffic lights. At the fourth traffic signal, you will see Washington Middle School on the right. The Entrance to Thomas Edison Middle School is approximately 0.3 of a mile on the right. The main entrance is to the right of the school through the double pillars.
From the North (Hartford) via Wilbur Cross Parkway:
Wilbur Cross Parkway traveling South to the Broad Street Exit in Meriden. The Thomas Edison Middle School is on the left. The main entrance is to the right of the school through the double pillars.
From the South (New Haven) via Interstate 91:
I-91 North to exit 17 (I-691 - West connector). Take the first exit (#8 - Broad Street)*. At the end of the ramp take a right onto Broad Street. Proceed through two traffic lights. From the South (New Haven) via Wilbur Cross Parkway:
Wilbur Cross Parkway traveling North toward Meriden to the I-691 Connector. This is a cloverleaf, so follow the signs to I-691 West (you will bear to the left and then take a quick right following the signs onto I-691)*. You will come onto I-691 onto the left lane. Cross over to the right lane and take the first exit (#8 - Broad Street). At the end of the ramp take a right onto Broad Street. Proceed through two traffic lights. At the fourth traffic signal, you will see Washington Middle School on the right. The Entrance to Thomas Edison Middle School is approximately 0.3 of a mile on the right. The main entrance is to the right of the school through the double pillars.
From the East:
Take Route 9 North to I-91 South to Exit 18 (I-691 West). Take the first exit (#8 - Broad Street)*. At the end of the ramp take a right onto Broad Street. Proceed through two traffic lights. Take I-84 East/West to Exit 27(I-691 West). Take exit #8 - Broad Street. At the end of the ramp take a right onto Broad Street. Proceed through two traffic lights. At the fourth traffic signal, you will see Washington Middle School on the right. The Entrance to Thomas Edison Middle School is approximately 0.3 of a mile on the right. The main entrance is to the right of the school through the double pillars.
* Please Note: No commercial vehicles are allowed down the Exit 8 West ramp. Continue on I-691 to Exit 7 - Downtown Meriden. Bear left toward the end of the ramp and at the stop sign (at the end of the ramp) turn left. At the next stop sign turn left onto Camp Street. Proceed down Center Street to the intersection with Broad Street. Take a left onto Broad Street. The school is approximately 1 1/2 miles down on the right.
