Center for Leadership Development

Develop Leaders and Continuous Improvement Practices
The ACES Center for Leadership Development provides training for educators in the most current and effective leadership practices and processes related to continuous improvement in the areas of teaching-learning, capacity building, community building and policy management. CT Education Policy Fellowship Program.

Curriculum Councils

Explore Best Practices
ACES facilitates regional and content specific curriculum councils. District leaders and department heads in Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Technology convene to share needs and explore best practices throughout the school year.

Technology Solutions

Better Meet 21st Century Learner Needs
Technology Solutions provides school districts with the resources to adapt current teaching models to better meet the needs of 21st century learners. This collaboration of services streamlines the process for districts. From needs analysis through implementation, Technology Solutions provides support for infrastructure; curriculum integration and professional development to assist districts meet their educational goals.

Interdistrict Cooperative Grant Programs

Address Issues of Ethnic and Economic Isolation
ACES collaborates with member districts to plan, write, and implement programs to address issues of racial/ethnic and economic isolation through Connecticut’s Interdistrict Cooperative Grant Programs.

Educator Career Development

Attract and Retain Top Educators
ACES works with a range of partners to attract, certify and retain the best and the brightest to the education field. We coordinate the Beginning Educator Support & Training (BEST) and offers training and test preparation support for educator licensure requirements.

Conferences

ACES Will Plan, Manage and Host
ACES can plan, organize and manage your conference in our state-of-the-art conference rooms. Our facilities accommodate up to eighty participants and include food services, audio visual equipment, and the latest in computer and projection technology. Computer labs are also available.
