Support and In-service to school personnel
Upon contractual agreement, ETS can provide resources, support, and in-services to school staff.
These have included large staff in-services, such as:
- Self-Care: Ideas to Encourage and Engage Your Child in Dressing & Undressing
- Wheelchair Awareness
- Body Mechanics & the Dos and Don’ts of Transfers and Lifting
- Sensory Processing: Alertness Level – Wake-up & Cool-down
And also includes teacher/classroom training in regards to challenges in the areas of safety, mobility, and access (physical therapy), as well as sensory, fine/visual motor skills, and self care (occupational therapy).
