In response to your request for assistance with the transition to the Core Standards, ACES PDSI has designed a suite of services to meet your needs.
Why a Curriculum Consortium?
- To build district capacity for transitioning to full implementation of the Core Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics
- To collaborate on developing curriculum maps, units of study, and related assessment tools and processes aligned with the Core Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics • To provide cost-effective solutions and access to resources across ACES member districts
- To provide the most up-to-date information about developments regarding the Core Standards and the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium
- To support high-quality instruction at all levels, and ensure optimal learning environments for all students

| Access to Materials | Exclusive access to all materials produced during work sessions |
| Customized Planning | Customized planning for successful implementation of your new curriculum |
| Embedded PD | Follow-up, on-site PD to support implementation of the Core Standards |
Your Commitment to the Consortium
- Assign teams of appropriate participants to attend workshops and/or curriculum writing sessions in English Language Arts and/or Mathematics
- Come to work sessions with resources and materials necessary to do the work required in your particular district/schools, in your selected content area(s)
- Contribute actively to the development of curriculum maps, units of study, and other resources related to curriculum, instruction and assessment in English Language Arts and/or Mathematics
- Agree to share any work you produce with other Consortium participants
