ACES Human Resources manages hiring and recruitment activities and provides salary and benefits administration. Human Resources assists employees with a myriad of work-related issues. The Human Resources staff provides interpretation and necessary mediation regarding contractual issues and also provides on-going training for staff in the areas of sexual harassment, protection and advocacy, and child abuse and neglect.
Human Resources staff members also collaborate with and support our member districts and other Connecticut RESCs. Our annual Minority Teacher Recruitment Fair is one example of this important work. Normally held in the spring, the MTR Fair is evidence of ACES commitment to strengthen the area of minority teacher recruitment efforts in Connecticut while working collaboratively with our districts and other RESCs.
