Assistant Executive Director,

Curriculum and Programs

 

The Assistant Executive Director for Curriculum and Programs is responsible for overseeing ACES Magnet Schools, ACES Special Education Schools, Early Childhood Services, school administration, teach evaluation plans, professional development as well as curriculum development and assessment.

 
 Initiatives of this program include the following:
  • Central Curriculum
  • Scientifically Research Based Interventions (SRBI)
  • Teacher Education and Mentoring Program (TEAM)
  • Professional Development
  • School/Program Climate Plans

 

Gary J. Shettle

Assistant executive director,

Finance and Operations

 

The Assistant Executive Director for Finance and Operations is responsible for overseeing ACES school construction projects, ACES legal relationships, financial analysis, budget development, Fiscal Services department, Transportation Services, Technology Services and the Office of Public Information.

 
 Initiatives of this program include the following:
  • Oversight of The Little Theatre state school construction project
  • Strategic Plan analysis of cost effectiveness and efficiency as well as survey instruments for data collection in designated programs
  • Fiscal analysis of new program development
  • Analysis of agency revenue
